Note: This is not a volunteer opportunity.  It is an educator workshop available for purchase.

Re-purposing materials is the heart of innovation at RAFT.  Over the years RAFT has created hundreds of idea sheets, which are standards-aligned activity instructions for teaching hands-on activities that embrace the creative use of materials.  They are meant to serve students in a range of grades depending on the objectives of the facilitator.  In this workshop participants will learn how to facilitate several life science activities and how to modify them to address grade-specific standards and learning objectives in life science.  Examples of hands-on activities in the workshop include strawberry DNA extractions, biodiversity sampling, and more!  Cost: $30

To Sign up for this workshop, enter your information below.  It says “Sign Up to Volunteer” even though you are signing up to be a participant in this educator workshop.  We will send out an email prior to the workshop with payment instructions to complete your registration in the class.
