Raft helps educators transform the learning experience through hands-on education. As a non-profit, we rely on member dues as well as donor support to help underwrite RAFT services and keep costs down. RAFT membership is open to individuals who qualify. To receive a membership card, just complete an application, show proof of affiliation, and remit your fee. Proof of affiliation includes a pay-stub, current CTA card, school ID, child care license, business card, or note on letterhead from an eligible organization, such as a school, community program, or licensed childcare facility.
Individual Membership
Annual membership is only $40 per person and a membership renewal is $35 per person. You can download the individual application now and send it by mail or fax with your payment and proof of affiliation included. You can also complete the application online or on your first visit to RAFT. If eligible, you will receive your RAFT card on your first visit.
Group Membership
RAFT offers substantial savings to groups interested in buying 10 or more individual memberships. To receive the discounted rate, a group must submit their individual applications together with one payment for the total membership amount.
Day Pass
Intended for qualifying members who do not have the opportunity to come to RAFT frequently. Proof of affiliation is required at the time of registration. The fee is $15 for a Day Pass. The Day Pass may be converted to an annual membership if the upgrade request is made within 14 days of the Day Pass purchase date. The day Pass fee will be applied towards the annual fee.
